Local for local: DEHN starts own production in the USA

DEHN continues its international growth: After several months ramping up, the first DEHN products are now rolling off the production line in Mooresville, North Carolina (NC). The start of production marks a significant milestone for the company. With a product portfolio specially developed for the US market, the specialist for lightning protection, surge protection and safety equipment is strengthening its presence in the United States. 

“The USA is one of our key growth markets for the coming years,” says Dr Philipp Dehn, CEO at DEHN SE. “Our own local value chain will enable us to serve the American market even better and respond quickly to new economic and political conditions.” 

Current Technology and Joslyn low-voltage products now part of DEHN 

Since the beginning of the month, Current Technology and Joslyn low-voltage products have been added to the core product portfolio of the American subsidiary DEHN, Inc. Both established brand products are now manufactured in Mooresville, NC for nationwide distribution.

“From now on, customers of Current Technology and Joslyn low-voltage products will benefit from decades of expertise from a leading innovator in lightning and surge protection,” affirms Ingo Rutenberg, CEO DEHN Americas. “The broader DEHN product portfolio creates a unique range of protection solutions for the American market.”

Market-oriented expansion: DEHN is committed to a global manufacturing network 

By opening its first own production facility outside of Germany, DEHN is taking the next decisive step towards establishing a global manufacturing network. In the long term, this will serve global target markets, expand capacities and allow the company to respond more quickly to market conditions – true to the motto: Local for local.
