Position Summary

We are expanding our manufacturing footprint into the Americas and have an immediate need for a Production Manager. In this role, you will be responsible for the technical management, supervision, and control of industrial production processes for all electronical and electro-mechanical products manufactured by a new assembly operation in our Mooresville, NC location. The approximate size of the team will be ten (10) assemblers initially.

You will work closely with Value Stream & Supply Chain Management, Quality, Suppliers, R&D, Engineering, and Customer Service teams. You will have a dual reporting structure locally and into our German HQ.

Job Responsibilities

  • Support the establishment of a new production line within our Mooresville, NC location.
  • Oversee the entire production process, from production schedule to on-time completion.
  • Ensure production goals are met while maintaining quality standards.
  • Manage production schedules and resource allocation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize processes.
  • Monitor production costs and implement cost-saving strategies.
  • Implement safety protocols and ensure a safe working environment.
  • Train, coach, develop, engage, and empower production team members.
  • Analyze production data to identify areas for improvement and develop corrective actions.

Job Requirements

  • Minimum five (5) years of relevant technical and supervisory experience OR a minimum of 3 years of relevant technical and supervisory experience with Bachelor's Degree in a Technical Field.
  • Experience in electro-mechanical manufacturing strongly preferred.
  • Prior experience as a process leader and with implementing productivity tools.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
  • Manufacturing supervision experience.
  • Proven communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency and experience with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Power Point, Excel, Outlook).
  • Experience using corrective action tools and techniques.
  • Strong facilitation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency and experience with SAP.
